Summer Art Camps

Summer Art Camps at the Kirkwood and St. Peters Store. Call or stop by the particular store you want to sign-up.

Cost per student is $145.00.
Non-refundable $45.00 deposit at time of registration.
10% discount for siblings.

A small snack with drink will be served during each session. Maria will be the teacher for each session. Maria is a recent graduate of Southern Illinois University with a BS degree in Art Education, K-12.

KIRKWOOD STORE

Session 1: Kirkwood Store
4 Days (Mon. thru Thur.) • June 7 -10 • Ages 5 - 7 • 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon

Create a journal with scrapbooking techniques, clay slab building, drawing with shapes to create a theme park, wax resist painting, paper fish mosaics, ceramic painting, create flowers using paper, create stainglass window, texture printmaking.

Session 2: Kirkwood Store
4 Days (Mon. thru Thur.) • June 14 -17 • Ages 8 - 11 • 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon

Painting pottery, create paper beads, create paper mache bowl, painting on canvas, create plastic bag rug, making pocket pet characters out of knick-knacks, marbling, planting flowers in pottery they painted earlier, painting paper mache bowls, create a memory box.

Session 4: Kirkwood Store
4 Days (Mon. thru Thur.) • July 12 -15 • Ages 8 - 11 • 9:00a.m. – 12 noon

Painting pottery, create paper beads, create paper mache bowl, painting on canvas, create plastic bag rug, making pocket pet characters out of knick-knacks, marbling, planting flowers in pottery they painted earlier, painting paper mache bowls, create a memory box.

ST. PETERS STORE:

Session 1: St. Peters Store
4 Days (Mon. thru Thur.) • June 21 -24 • Ages 5 - 7 • 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon

In the event a session is full, a new second session will open from 1:00pm thru 4:00pm on the same day. Limit 10 students per session. Must have 6 or more students for each session to make. Teacher reserves the right to adjust projects depending on time.
